“How lucky were we to have Stefan from Cammell Projects take on the renovation of our kitchen in 2022. Seamless. We live abroad and from start to finish we were kept “in the loop”. Stefan came up with some great, innovative ideas which are practical, look amazing and at the same time kept everything well within out budget. The project was finished on time and in budget - how rare is that? It all went smoothly, even though we have an older property and I know it’s often harder to renovate than build new. We returned to a jaw dropping new kitchen and laundry when we finally got back to Queenstown. The quality of the works is impeccable, stylish and faultless - truly faultless, I keep looking and I keep being stunned at the quality. The level of Customer Care is above and beyond and it’s an absolute pleasure to find a Company who genuinely do take pride in their work. “We had been planning extensive renovations for about 5 years but kept putting it off largely because we dreaded the whole construction process and were fearful of the horror stories you sometimes hear about poor workmanship from builders. A close friend recommended Stef from Cammell Projects and after viewing photos of work he had completed we contracted him. His team were friendly and courteous, the quality of his workmanship was first class and his communication through the build process was excellent. Two examples stand out of how pleasant they were to deal with: during a recent 2 day power outage in Auckland the builders couldn’t work but Stef came around out of the blue and gave us a petrol generator so we could keep our freezer cold! Also, when coming and going from our new extension the builders would climb through an unfinished window opening rather than walking through the rest of our house and disturbing the family. When we considered a refurbishment to our Waiheke Island cottage in 2011, we intended to replace some worn out decking. Stefan’s advice was very clearly don’t! If we wanted to do the job properly, his advice was to demolish and start again. He dragged me under the deck to show me how badly the foundations were in need of replacing and without to much convincing, I could see that his advice was well founded. One thing led to another and Stefan quoted to completely refurbish the cottage from a new kwila deck, new aluminium joinery, bathroom through to painting and carpet. He project managed the entire re-build, consulting with us all the way through. We were extremely satisfied with his building craftsmanship, organisation and timing of materials, tradesman, deliveries and costs which were as per quote. Pricing and invoicing were timely and well presented. He employed a great team.
